Full Library Hours
When an article is accepted for publication, submit an electronic version of the article to PubMed Central (PMC) using one of four NIH identified submission methods.
The publisher's policy determines which method is used (A, B, C, or D). Your task is to figure out which method applies. You are NOT able to select the method of your choice.
Remember: PIs and their institutions are responsible for all applicable papers that arise from their NIH funds, even if they are not an author or co-author.
Deposit a copy of the final peer-reviewed manuscript in PMC via the NIH Manuscript Submission (NIHMS) system. Manuscript files may be deposited in the NIHMS by an author or someone acting for the author, such a delegate or Ebling librarian.
